About Mountain Air Personal & Commercial Insurance
Mountain Air Property & Casualty Insurance Inc., aka: Mountain Air Personal & Commercial Insurance began serving the Bitterroot Valley in 2006 when Bruce and Kim Purviance purchased the agency from Kim’s parents Ken & Linda Brion, owners of Mountain Air Insurance Services, which continues to offer aircraft insurance as it has since 1987. Bruce & Kim’s daughter and son-in-law Kerstin and Adam Hagberg joined the agency in 2013 as part-owners and currently manage the office at the new location at 302 N 1st Street in Hamilton. Kim would be most certainly be proud of the wonderful job they are doing with her business.

Through much change and growth our motto and mission has always been and will continue to be that we are “A family business treating you like family.” We thank you for your business and look forward to serving the Bitterroot Valley community for many years to come. 
Meet Our Agents
Kerstin grew up in a small town in North Central Nebraska but her heart was always to live in Western Montana where her Grandparents had lived for as long as she could remember. Insurance had always been a part of her life as she spent a lot of time working in her Parents Insurance offices in Nebraska and South Dakota. She and her husband Adam lived in Montana from 2006 to 2010 when they moved back to Nebraska to help on the Hagberg Family Farm. Following the passing of her Mother in 2013, Kerstin and her family moved back to Montana to Carry on her Mothers legacy and love for her customer in the Agency. Kerstin acquired her Property and Casualty License and Life and Health Licensing all within a few short months of moving back to Montana. Kerstin loves running and has completed 9 Marathons as well as 2 Triathlons. Her and her husband enjoy and active lifestyle and keep busy with their 3 kids. Kerstin’s daughter Sophie competes competitively in team Gymnastics with Velocity Gymnastics and her little sister Chloe is very eager to follow in her sisters footsteps and is in recreational Gymnastics. Kerstin’s and Adam’s oldest child Gavin loves playing basketball on the Mountain Air P&C Insurance Team that the Agency Sponsors. Gavin is also involved in Traveling Soccer and Cross Country. Summer is the best time of the year for Kerstin as she and her family frequent Lake Como and Flathead Lake for Boating and Camping. They also enjoy all of the different celebrations throughout the Valley and Hiking (especially the M) in the Summer. In the Winter months you will find Kerstin and her son Gavin on the slopes at Lost Trail. Kerstin and her family feel so Blessed to be able to live in such a wonder community. 
Adam was born and raised in a small farm community in North Central Nebraska. In 2006 he and his wife Kerstin along with their son Gavin moved from Lincoln, NE to the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. Adam joined Mountain Air P&C Insurance in 2006 as a Licensed Agent specializing in Personal and Commercial Lines of Insurance. Since he arrived he has expanded his expertise to Ag Insurance which came quite naturally since he grew up on a Farm. Adam Loves spending time with his family and enjoys Boating and Camping at Lake Como and Flathead Lake in the Summer as well as Golfing and Fishing all of the great locations in the Valley. They also enjoy attending all of the different Town Celebrations throughout the Valley. In the Fall and Winter Months a lot of Time is spent rooting on his Nebraska Cornhuskers and Creighton Bluejays in Football and Basketball. Adam stays quite busy throughout the year as his son Gavin is involved in year round Soccer and Basketball as well as Cross country and his daughters Sophie and Chloe are involved in Gymnastics all year. Adam and his family feel absolutely Blessed to be able to raise their family in such a beautiful place with so many different activities.  
Bruce Purviance is co-owner of Mountain Air P&C Insurance and currently resides in Lewiston, Idaho with his wife, Angela. He continues to be involved with the operation of the agency albeit now mostly through cell phone and internet. Bruce and Angela frequently visit the Valley to “check in on the agency” but actually spend most of their time visiting their grandkids Gavin, Sophie, and Chloe.
